International Cooperation

INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION ACTIVITIES
 

With the aim to expand and improve the effectiveness of international cooperation activities, EPU has set priorities to establish and develop long term partnerships with international organizations and prestigious foreign partners in the region and in the world, both in education and training as well as scientific research and technology transfer.

The mainstream areas of international cooperation include academic exchanges and development, staff member and student exchanges, scientific research and technology transfer, joint training programs, advanced and short-term training courses, co-organization of international scientific conferences and workshops.

So far, EPU has expanded its cooperation in different areas with many oversea universities and institutions. The university has founded joint training activities with foreign partners, e.g. Grenoble Institute of Technology (France), Chisholm Institute (Australia), Czech Technical University in Prague (Czech Republic), Shanghai Electric Power University (China), University of Palermo (Italy),
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, University of Fukui (Japan), GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy (USA).

In addition, EPU has also explored cooperation potentials and reached preliminary agreements with several foreign partners such as UNITEN (Malaysia), Arizona State University (USA), JICA (Japan), etc.
